Wayne Foundation does not ask a partner or a funder to trust its word. It builds a verifiable system, and points to it. Every claim on this site that can be checked is meant to be checked — against a published record, not a private assurance. Wayne Foundation is governed by a twelve-seat board (“the Twelve”) meeting monthly, consulting a wider founding circle of forty (“the Forty”) who are named in the founding record but do not hold a board vote. Decisions are reached through Shura — collective deliberation — rather than unilateral direction.
